Not Signed Sonakshi For Next, Says Director Motwani

Director Vikramiditya Motwani has cleared the rumoured of him teaming up with actress Sonakshi Singh for the second time. Sonakshi was directed by Motwani in the film  Lootera  which was appreciated by critics. The director said that he has only finalized the male lead of his upcoming film Bhavesh Joshi . Actor Sidharth Malhotra has been singed for the film. However, the female lead is yet to be finalized. The Lootera girl Sonakshi is also having a busy schedule as she is gearing up for her Tamil debut film Lingaa. Sonakshi is paired opposite Tamil superstar Rajinikanth in the film. Apart from that, the actress is also shooting for the film Tevar in which the Sonakshi is paired opposite Arjun kapoor for the first time. Director Motwani said that the shooting for the film Bhavesh Joshi is likely to begin from December. Sonam was quoted saying, "It's just a matter of taking each day and enjoying my work, and saying that I am a selfish actor. I will do the best I can with this role." The actress will be seen playing the role of veteran actress Rekha in the remake of the film Khoobsurat , which was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Sonam Kapoor's film ( Khoobsurat)  is a tribute to the old film of the same name. Remake is a comedy film directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor. The film also mark the debut of the actor Fawad Afzal Khan. Sonam plays the role of a physiotherapist Mili Chakraborty who fell in love with the Rajput boy Prince who is already engaged to someone else. The film is scheduled to release on September 19, 2014.

Actress Priyanka Chopra says director  Zoya Akhtar  wanted her to lose weight for her next film  Dil Dhadakne Do . Priyanka is essaying the role of boxing champion  Mary Kom  in a biopic for which she had to build muscles. Her next is Zoya's  Dil Dhadakne Do . "Zoya had warned me to lose all the muscles. I was not muscular but had acquired bulked-up physique. I had to be in right shape as I was playing a girly role. I had to work for it, go on a crash diet and lose shape," Priyanka said at the trailer launch of  Mary Kom  today. Dil Dhadakne Do  also features  Ranveer Singh , Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah among others. Randeep Hooda 's  Rang Rasiya , a period drama based on the life Raja Ravi Varma, will be released on October 23rd, 2014 by Jayantilal Gada of PEN India. Gada recently met with the director of  Rang Rasiya ,  Ketan Mehta  and finalised the date of its release. According to sources close to the film, "It was Ketan's birthday and Gada's thumbs-up to his film was the perfect birthday gift. Ketan has waited six years for the movie to see the light of day."
